Waitrose has taken a number of measures to safeguard customers and staff during the coronavirus outbreak. Customers are required to take only one person to shop and to wear a mask or scarf. In every shop, there are also hand sanitisers. Waitrose offers the Volunteer's Card for customers who self-isolate which allows family members and friends to pick up orders on behalf of the customer.
